I’ve been seeing SOOO much Jesus lately and I just want to share what’s been happening. I just want to be clear at the beginning of this by saying that the things He does are not all He is, and even if there aren’t tangible things in our lives that are from God, His heart is what matters and He is unchanging. I just know it can be really encouraging to hear about how God is moving in someone’s life.
Starting at the end of January with World Mandate West:
- People prayed for healing and we saw healing! Someone from SLC was healed of migraines that had been giving her pain every day for 2 years, among others.
- Experienced incredible worship and saw people filled with the Spirit (they fell down and stuff it was crazy)
- He brought together an amazing group of college age worshipers who are meant to be singing for Him, and with our hoarse and tired voices we lifted up praises until like 2am.
- He gave us visions of revival in Salt Lake City and it’s COMING
After WMW:
- The creative team at my church had a worship/vision night and we received even more vision from God about revival in SLC, specifically for the mormon church.
- At church, someone I had never met prayed for me and spoke things that I know are from God, things that He has told me before in prayer.
- A group of people travelling to campuses around the nation came to Utah to worship and evangelize. People were healed again.
- We had a worship night with that group and people prayed over me and spoke in tongues. Other people were filled with the fire of the Spirit and others prophesied.
- I watched and helped someone get rid of a knife that they had been using to cut themselves by burying it and become free from self harm.
- We got more vision that night for our campus and city! Someone saw a vision of the stadium filled with people worshiping and hearing about Jesus. Let it be done.
- This past Saturday the college worship team was rehearsing for our college night, and what was just for practice turned into a powerful night of worship and prayer. God spoke to me through people that prayed/prophesied and otherwise had no idea what I was experiencing because I never told them.
- College night happened last night and God SHOWED UP!! We worshiped until it hurt and many people stepped out in boldness to tell what God was saying to them and prayed for the college ministry. Revival is coming.
I have to make a separate section for this because it’s really cool and longer than a bullet point. A few months ago God told me to go walk around the LDS temple downtown and just pray. I was hesitant and kept putting it off, but finally went with some friends a couple weeks ago and we ended up talking to and praying for two mormon missionaries for over an hour. I really believe God is moving in the mormon church and we will see mormons coming to know the simple gospel and being in relationship with Jesus! I went a few times after that to pray, and then went with another group two days ago and talked to/prayed for another pair of missionaries. One of them began to cry when we talked about grace and not feeling adequate, and she told us about an experience she had the night before when she heard God tell her that she won’t be perfect and she doesn’t have to strive for perfect. PLEASE keep Camille, Anna, Gracie, Cici, and the entire LDS church in your prayers, that they would know the true grace and love of God!
This isn’t even all of what’s been happening but it’s so cool to see it written out. My hope is that this is encouraging to someone in a dry season or someone who hasn’t seen God move much. I promise you He’s working even if you don’t see it now, His timing is perfect!
